Comfort Food
Comfort Food is somewhat self-explanatory, but it’s also sort of difficult for me to not call everything on Cooking and Cussing comfort food. In my humble opinion, the most primary job of food (besides nutrition, of course) is to bring joy and comfort, and I write all of my recipes with that goal in mind.
New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp and Cheesy Grits and Poor Boy Supper epitomize that soul-satisfying feeling.
