I cannot wait to tell you guys more about Create and Go and their awesome eCourses, but before I get into the nitty-gritty let me first point out that this post contains an affiliate link to purchase the courses from Create and Go. I receive a portion of the sales when the courses are purchased through the links contained in the images below or the link to purchase the course at the end of the post. There is no additional cost to purchase through my affiliate link. Also, please rest assured that my affiliate relationship with Create and Go does not alter the integrity of content on Cooking and Cussing in any way.
The purpose of Create and Go is to teach others how to start a blog and how to make money blogging. They have four different courses that cover:
- Build and Launch Your Blog
- Make Money Blogging for Beginners
- Pinterest Traffic Avalanche
- Six Figure Blogger
I will be posting individual reviews for each of the above courses as I work my way through them. This specific review is about course one which provides instruction on how to build and launch your blog in one month using WordPress. The course offers efficient, step-by-step instructions on how to launch your blog the right way.

The founders of Create and Go, Alex and Lauren, have an incredible story. Honestly, I don’t even think you’ll need to read my glowing review of their first course to be inspired to purchase their courses. Their story was all the inspiration I needed to whip out my credit card!
The headline on Create and Go’s “About” page sums it up pretty damn well. The headline reads “From Broke and Frustrated to $100,000/Month Blogging in Less Than 3 Years.”
Well, if that doesn’t get your attention than what the hell will? Alex and Lauren are very upfront and honest in their materials that it took a TON of hard work and failures to achieve their successes, but I think this makes their story even more relatable.
Alex was working as a personal trainer, and Lauren was climbing the corporate ladder while working on her CPA exams. They were both dissatisfied with their professional lives, and let’s be real, we spend more time in our professional lives than our personal lives typically so this meant they just weren’t happy with how they were living this one and only life we get. They had goals to travel and not just once they retired. They were tired of grinding all week while constantly wishing for the weekends to be longer and for vacations to be more frequent. They were seeking what so many of us look for in our twenties and then sadly give up along the way to becoming a successful “adult.” They wanted fun, freedom, and adventure!
I can really relate to Lauren’s story. This statement on their “About” page echoes my sentiment about my own life so deeply.
“Like this woman has an MBA and a CPA, is as sharp as a tack, and is still fighting to stay out of debt.”

Preach! I myself have an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA. From all outsider accounts, I have one of those fancy careers you think you want when you’re sitting in the career development office at school. It’s not to say my job is terrible, but it doesn’t feed my soul in the way life should. But it is my belief is that many of us feel that way because your job wasn’t meant to satisfy your soul. All the other badass things in life, family, friends, travel, culture, food, drink, etc, are the things that feed your spirit, but how in the f*ck are we supposed to find time for those things with all the financial challenges life brings and the expectations we all put on each other of what “success” really is?!?
Alex and Lauren were braver than most, and instead of just continuing to trudge through life, accepting that this is just how it goes, they said f*ck that and quit their full-time jobs to pursue a career as full-time bloggers. Their first blog failed miserably and not because they didn’t bust their asses working on it. They just didn’t know yet where to get the best return for their hard work. Then came Avocadu, a health and wellness blog, and things started to really take off. With the help of Pinterest and some great testimonials, Avocadu went viral, and Alex and Lauren went from making nothing from their blog then to $1,000 then $10,000 and then over $40,000 in one month!

Next came Create and Go where they aspired to teach everyone how to achieve the success they were now experiencing without all the headaches, pain, and frustration they experienced themselves in those early months after leaving their jobs. I’ll abbreviate the remainder of the story, but the gist is that Alex and Lauren worked their asses off to live of a life that most of us won’t even let our minds daydream about.
They travel often, and not just for the few days most of take-off for a “vacation.” No, they went to Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Portugal back to back and spent long periods of time in each location all while still creating content to keep traffic going strong and collecting passive income for their efforts. Seriously guys, they make, on average, $100,000 per month all while actually LIVING. This is the shit dreams are made of!
My story is probably similar to many of you who will end up purchasing the courses from Create and Go whether that’s through my affiliate link or not. I was having a f*cking terrible day at work, and I happened to come across a link to Create and Go on social media. After reading through several of their posts including their awe-inspiring “About” page, I just couldn’t stop thinking about their story and how I could make this my reality as well.
Within a month of first reading their content, I purchased the Build and Launch Your Blog eCourse. I started with nothing but an idea, and in 5 weeks I launched Cooking and Cussing. I’ve never been this excited about a project in my life!! The process of building and launching Cooking and Cussing has ignited more excitement and passion inside of me than school ever did and certainly more than either of my two careers as a Wine Sales Rep or a Data Analyst ever have.
I absolutely never would have gotten to this point without Build and Launch Your Blog. To be fair, I was a little over the one month mark they advertise as there’s a lot of extra work that goes into a food blog, recipe testing, food photography, etc, that pushed me a bit past one month, but six weeks to launch was my personal goal.

The course is so easy to follow and presents the information in a way that makes it seem much more tactical and a hell of a lot less overwhelming than it really is. All their videos are so helpful because they show you exactly the steps you need to take, but I also love that they are simply good people trying to help out others. Sometimes Alex can ramble a little bit in the videos, but it makes me chuckle and reminds me that they are just real people. I love that! Their integrity and the earnestness of their intentions is so apparent in watching their videos that it makes me want to help them continue their success.
If there is a part of you that is so f*cking excited right now to even imagine the possibilities of being a full-time blogger, I really encourage you to take the leap, purchase their first course, and get to crackin’! I know for me personally, the idea of never trying was just unbearable knowing that Alex and Lauren were ready to hand me a manual of how to succeed for a small fee. That price seems minimal in light of all I have gained from the course.
Please use the link below to purchase if you’re ready to change your life and take back ownership of your time and passion.
